Launch of Planetum-1

May 26, 2022

It was a successful night for Planetum-1 yesterday. The start of Falcon 9 and Exolaunch deployment went smooth. The ride continued, and the first contact was caught at 20:17 UTC. So we already know that the astronaut Hurvínek is enjoying an ambient temperature of about 16 °C. It must be comfortable in his spacesuit. These are good news for his father Spejbl, aren't they?

The photo from Planetum shows the satellite. SERENUM SPACE delivered the  ADCS (the brown block above the batteries taking care of attitude determination and control),  structure and some parts of the software.

The commissioning may begin. Let's point the satellite towards 🌍 and take a photo.
